Kanye West "Ye" in Almaty

On August 14, 2026, the Central Stadium of Almaty will host the first-ever Kanye West concert in Kazakhstan. The legendary American rapper, producer, and visionary will perform as part of the global "YE" tour, which in 2026 covered stadiums in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. For Kazakhstani hip-hop fans, this will be a truly historic event - the artist will come to the country for the first time with a large-scale solo show.

The main visual feature of the current tour is the original set design with a rotating spherical structure in the center of the arena, projecting images of the Earth and the Moon. This installation becomes the epicenter of the audiovisual journey that unfolds throughout the two-hour performance. The setlist covers Ye's entire career: from tracks from the "Graduation" and "808s & Heartbreak" to songs from the album "Donda" and new material.

Kanye West concerts are known for their atmosphere of communal experience, where the audience of thousands turns into a single organism, reacting to every beat. The Central Stadium of Almaty is located in the heart of the city, making it an ideal venue for an event of this scale. The concert was announced by the Almaty Akimat, emphasizing the significance of the event for the cultural life of the city.
