Description
Belgrade Arena is one of the main sports and concert venues in Serbia and an architectural landmark of New Belgrade. Construction of the complex began in 1991, but due to economic difficulties, work was repeatedly suspended. The arena opened in 2004, after which it became the largest indoor facility in the country and one of the most spacious arenas in Europe.
The area of the complex is about 48,000 square meters, and the internal space includes six levels. In its standard configuration, the Belgrade Arena has a capacity of 18,386 spectators; during concerts, the capacity increases to approximately 20,000 people. There are various accommodation options for guests: regular sectors, comfortable chairs and premium boxes. In total, the complex has 70 boxes, designed for 860 visitors.
The Belgrade Arena is the home court for the leading basketball clubs in Serbia - Partizan and Red Star. It has hosted prestigious international competitions, including the Euroleague Final Four in 2018 and 2022. In addition to sporting events, the arena regularly hosts concerts of popular world performers, large-scale shows and cultural events.
