Belluna Dome, formerly known as Seibu Dome, is one of Japan's most unusual sports complexes, located in the city of Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. The stadium is home to the Saitama Seibu Lions baseball team and holds an important place in the country's sports history. Opened in 1979, the site was originally called Seibu Lions Stadium, and later underwent a large-scale modernization.
In the late 1990s, the stadium received a new design: in 1998, a roof was installed over the stands, and already in 1999, the complex acquired a modern domed appearance. At the same time, the architects preserved the peculiarity of the open arena - the space between the roof and the upper tier of the stands ensures natural air circulation. This allows spectators to enjoy events in a comfortable atmosphere while maintaining the feel of an open stadium.
