Description
PGE Narodowy is one of the largest sports and cultural complexes in Poland, located in Warsaw. The arena was built on the site of the famous "Decade Stadium" and opened in December 2011. Today the stadium is an important venue for international competitions, concerts, exhibitions and large-scale public events. Modern infrastructure and a capacity of up to 64,500 spectators make it possible to host events of the highest level.
PGE Narodowy is famous not only for football matches, but also for its varied cultural program. The stadium hosted the 2012 European Football Championship, the UEFA Europa League final of the 2014/2015 season, as well as other major sporting events. Thanks to the retractable roof, the arena can be used at any time of the year, creating comfortable conditions for spectators at sports competitions and concerts of popular performers.
In addition to the sports program, PGE Narodowy hosts exhibitions, festivals and entertainment events. There were exhibitions dedicated to modern audio equipment and LEGO construction kits, as well as large-scale concerts by Polish and foreign artists. In 2023, the site set a record attendance thanks to the performance of Dawid Podsiadło.
